Privacy notice

What we collect

Visiting this website. The site sets no cookies, has no forms and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. It is served by Cloudflare. To deliver each page and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes connection data: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. We see only overall traffic totals, such as visits per country, which do not identify you.

Writing to us. If you email info@bmslabs.ai, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you choose to write.

Why we use it

Connection data: to deliver the website and keep it secure. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a website that works and is safe.

Email: to read and answer you and to keep a record of our business correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us and in running our business. If you write to us about working together, it is also a step you asked for before any contract.

You do not have to give us personal data. If you do not write to us, we simply cannot reply. We do not use your data for marketing, we do not sell it, and we make no automated decisions about you.

Who receives it

We share personal data only with the companies that run our services:

• Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and protects this website and forwards email sent to info@bmslabs.ai.
• Google LLC hosts the mailbox where we read and answer email.

Transfers outside the DIFC

Cloudflare and Google are based in California, United States. On 7 August 2023 the DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection recognised California's privacy law as giving an adequate level of protection. Both companies run worldwide networks, so your data may also be handled in other countries under their data protection terms. Ask us if you want details of these safeguards.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, for example to a court or regulator.

How long we keep it

We keep no visitor logs of our own. Cloudflare keeps connection data for a short time under its own rules.

We keep email for as long as we need it to deal with your message and to keep the business records the law requires. After that we delete it.

Your rights

Under the DIFC Data Protection Law you can ask us to:

• show you the personal data we hold about you;
• correct it or complete it;
• delete it;
• restrict how we use it, or stop using it if you object;
• give it to you, or to another organisation, in a portable format.

We answer within one month, free of charge. Using your rights will not change how we treat you. We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. Our director is responsible for data protection and reads every request.

Complaints

If you believe we have processed your personal data in breach of the law, write to us at info@bmslabs.ai and we will look into it and reply.
